Stoll the streets of Rye after your day out in the vineyards

There are several places you must visit and walk throughout the town.  We often encourage guest to to to Mermaid St and see the House with Two Front Doors and also the Mermaid Inn.   The Mermaid Inn is was rated the most haunted pub in England and was featured on the TV programme “Most Haunted!”

Rye has so much history and is probably most well known of a fine seafood delicacy — scallops.  This lovely shellfish are harvested locally in the sandy waters at the estuary of the Rother River and Rye Bay Harbour.
